Delicia Lewis

I had my experience in school with health information management as I learned to diagnose diseases by the description of symptoms. Coding health information is an ongoing learning process. I currently work with seniors and assist with their care. I had worked at retirement facilities in the dementia care unit. Helping clients to have better interpretation of handling their moods. I helped planned activities so clients can be enthusiastic about their day. I also worked with different senior care companies one on one with clients.

I worked at a retirement home for almost a year. After a year I had different experiences working with seniors with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I had taken care of each client on a one to one basis. I had worked alongside nurses to ensure the proper medication is given to a client and lunch meals were prepped and served to a client. I had given a client showers on certain days and helped them prep for the day.  

I have my high school diploma and I took various science courses over the years. I have my certificate in supportive care assistant worker to qualify me for my senior care roles.
