I, Doreen Faye Rosali, am applying for the fulltime or partime position for Pharmacy Assistant. I graduated of Pharmacy Technician 2-year Program at Centennial College in 2014.  I successfully finished the two-year program. Through my fourth semester, I did my final placement in the hospital for both inpatient and outpatient in where I discharged or applied my knowledge of what I have learned in the program.  I am confident to discharge my duties and responsibilities considering the scope of practice of a health care professional. Through my placement in Inpatient hospital, I performed the tasks of replenishing the ward stock, and the floor stock in each floor with supervision. I had a chance to do filling the first-dose, or interim dose. I collaborated well with other staffs. I assisted for distributing narcotic orders to the floor. I had a better view with IV admixture and Chemo orders. Through my school experience from Aseptic I and II, I had an exposure for manipulating orders by performing aseptically and maintaining the product orders from being contaminated. I have good maintaining records in my criminal record. I also acquired the First Aid and CPR Certification up to date. As a worker, I have sensitivity to care for elderly and with people have different disabilities that need to take medications and therapeutic equipment. I am able to entry data on the computer with good typing skills (30 wpm), and manual dexterity, generate prescriptions, accurate dispensing prescription medications, maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems, general Over the counter inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary, handling customer prescription pickup, transport medications order, Assisting with cashier responsibilities, able to compound product and able to calculate precisely. I was employed from Shoppers Drug Mart and Rexall drug store in where I had an exposure from dealing patients and customers. I collaborated well with the pharmacists. I am familiar to the Kroll system in where I have used the software majority in my program in school, as well when I did my outpatient pharmacy, in where the prescriptions have to be scanned after the data entry. I have an experience for charging and crediting each unit per order medications either computer data entry or manually. I can collaborate well affectively with other pharmacy technicians, clinical pharmacist, pharmacist students, and other healthcare professionals.
