Eden Colley

I am a 5th-year student at UBC, with a major in Interdisciplinary studies. I have tailored my coursework to include a wide variety of Psychological and Sociological thought, as well as exploring my creative interests with a Secondary focus of Creative Writing.

I've been able to apply my coursework in many of my work experiences in industries ranging from Public Health, HR, and Retail. This has given me the opportunity to develop skills like Team Supervision, Research, Recruitment, and Event management.

I believe that the combination of my work experiences and academic background has allowed me to develop a unique perspective that I am motivated to utilize in my future endeavours!

I have over 7 years of customer service experience in Customer service, with roles in both team and supervision.

In my time as a student at UBC, I was able to talior my degree to be focused around psychological and sociological thought, while also pursuing a creative passion in writing. In my course work, I've had the opportunity to explore diverse concepts and develop skills in research methodology (PSYC 217, SPPH 401, ), Development (PSYC 315, 301, LING 222, LING 209), Creative writing of all forms (CRWR 303, 302, 319, 353), and issues on a Sociological level (SOCI 312, 314). In my final year of coursework, I am excited to completed some of the coursework mentioned and expand on my knowledge of said topics!
