Edin Hajdarovac

Being in different types of work environments at an early age, has taught me many skills that I carry on moving forward. From sales targeted jobs, to working in live sound rigging, I take experience from all areas and use them in all areas of work. Graduation from Nimbus School of Recording and Media, has taught me tremendously taught me about audio in a live setting as well as post production. Being a musician, understanding of audio and sound is important to be able to stand out from others in the industry. My eagerness and curiosity has brought me to positions and opportunities that take years to qualify for. From having 5+ years in sales and 3+ years in the music industry, I feel I use all the tools I've learned to my advantage. 

I started with Maple Ridge Volkswagen in 2014 as a car washer and was eager to move forward in the company. Just after graduating high school in 2016, I joined the sales team at Volkswagen and work ambitiously with them till 2020. Being salesman of the year, and achieving multiple rewards, I felt I had to move on and try something different. I then moved to Best Buy as a manager and managed multiple departments. This taught me a lot as I took it more as a team building job than a management job. I enjoyed growing with the team and learning how to work with a team together. While being in Best Buy, I was working with Riggit, which is a rigging company for local shows. This taught me a lot about live shows. From rigging lights, to audio to even engineering shows, every shift was a great learning experience.

I finished my diploma at Nimbus School of Recording and Media in late 2022. Going to Nimbus taught me a lot about how audio works, and how to engineer problems when the arouse. Being taught how to work in live sound, and engineer live shows to engineering professional studio sessions from opportunities by the school, the experience put me forward more than I imagined. We learned greatly about the sound side of music, but also the business side and how internally the industry works.
