Who am I?

Born and raised in Germany, I am currently living in North-Western British Columbia, together with my husband and  teenage daughter. We've arrived in Canada “full-time” in 1999.

My main expertise lies in Office and General Management in the international Hospitality and Tourism Industry. 

I have also held office management positions in retail, as well as purchasing and marketing positions for the Fashion Industry. Office-work for an international container shipping company is also amongst my experiences.

For roughly 10 years I was the main practicum teacher for an international Hotel School in Germany. In Canada I have been working with the CNC Prince George, BC by offering practicum training modules for their hospitality classes at several of the hotels I was involved with over the years.

I am multilingual: German, English, French, Italian.

I am currently not working, because my husband is in the final stages of cancer. Which situation is not a good mix with the hectic and demanding schedule of a hotel manager. 

For now, I will just stay at home with my husband. 

At the same token, I am not used to “doing nothing”, so I am exploring the options of obtaining a remote position that allows me to work from our home.

I could start any position per immediately. The necessary office equipment is available.  

For working hours, I am absolutely flexible. Night shifts could also be covered as needed.

I chose my profession in Hospitality/Tourism because I have “the travel bug”, and I really enjoy interacting with people of all ways of life. 

For the moment … well I am stuck at home. 

I strongly believe that there are opportunities out there, where I can become a useful, reliable and trustworthy part of your organization.
