• Welding and materials engineer support of capital projects and operations.  Materials review and selection.  Development, approval and selection of welding procedures for steel pipelines.  Support pipeline integrity maintenance work.  Manage company welder qualification program.

Welding and Materials Engineering Manager - Union Gas, an Enbridge Company (2014-2016)

• Manager of Company welding and materials engineering team for transmission and distribution pipeline systems, including steel and polymer pipes.  Design, qualify and approve welding procedures.  Oversee qualification of welders.  Participate in industry code committees and organizations to advance pipeline welding technology and practices.

Welding and Materials Engineer - Chevron USA (2007-2014)

• Material selection, corrosion modeling, welding engineering for downhole, subsea, facilities, pipelines and refining assets.  Support of capital and maintenance projects.  Forensic metallurgical failure analysis.  Support of joint industry projects and tech development projects in materials and welding.  Refinery pressure vessel and piping material selection, welding procedure development and selection.  Support fixed equipment integrity, inspection and repairs during refinery shutdowns.

M.Sc. in Welding Engineernig - The Ohio State University (USA, graduated 2021)

• Course-based Masters program.  Courses in welding processes, welding metallurgy and weldability, weld design, non-destructive testing, polymers joining.  Completed a project on heat-affected zone softening in steel pipeline welds.
