I have done Masters of Science (Environmental Engineering): 1999  National University of Science & Technology (NUST), Rawalpindi, Pakistan

I have also done Masters of Science (Biochemistry): 1996  Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

I have served as Senior Safety Officer from September 2002 to April 2006 in  Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) , Karachi, Pakistan  

I have 8 years of working experience in development, implementation & monitoring of Health & Safety Management Systems (HSMS).

I am IRCA Certified Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems Auditor 

I have vast experience in establishing, coordinating & conducting Safety Management awareness/training programs, including Safety Orientation to new hires/staff

I have also experience to Organize & conduct regular safety inspections & audits of work sites to ensure that HSMS Policies, Procedures & Standards have been properly implemented & adhered to

Investigation of safety related Incident/Accident, analysis to identify root causes & report to concerned authorities & suggest measures 

Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment, Facility Inspection through Environmental Rounds

Developed & conducted testing (mechanism) of employees/staff knowledge on various aspects of Safety Management Program and record its results for improving the staff awareness/knowledge, including Data compilation & analysis
