Eunseo Park

Hello. My name is Eunseo (Kora) Park, and I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. I came to Canada to pursue my degree in Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta. After graduating from the University, I currently work as a Kinesiologist at a Rehabilitation clinic to prescribe personalized exercises for clients who got injured at their workplace. By working at the Rehab clinic, I worked in a fast-paced environment with interdisciplinary team to help clients optimally recover from their injury and eventually help them return to their workplace. In addition to working at fast-paced environment, I have also been able to manage my time by learning how to prioritize different tasks in the day. By interacting with different clients and team members, I have been able to learn how to build rapport, which helped me understand how to provide support and create mutual respect for everyone.

In addition to working as a Kinesiologist, I have worked in multiple jobs, including retail and grocery stores, to build my skills in time management, networking, leadership, interpersonal skills, positivity, and conflict management. This is the list of experiences below. 

HMart, University of Alberta  — Cashier (Part Time)

June 2023 - September 2023

Worked as a cashier at HMart by listening to the concerns and needs of the customers, guided customers to help find the product they need, checked inventories in the store, and closed the store.

Lululemon, West Edmonton Mall — Seasonal Educator

Promoted IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equality, action) principle among guests and other educators to provide pleasant experience at lululemon, responded and acted on complaints made by the guests, provided optimal experience for guests to feel welcomed by monitoring all the guests in the store and satisfy their requests, checked inventories in the store, closed the store and monitored safety

Cheongwadae Embracing the People, Seoul, South Korea — Event Staff Member (Full-Time)

April 2022 - June 2022

Worked as an Event Staff Member at Cheongwadae or Blue House, which was a presidential residence in South Korea, welcomed and assisted guests in finding locations of the cultural heritage, scanned tickets to help guests enter Cheongwadae, monitored safety hazard

McDonalds Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea — Crew Member

March 2019 - July 2019

Worked as a crew member (front counter and drinks) to serve food for guests, and assisted in booking party rooms or communication for foreign customers in Itaewon, South Korea 

I graduated from the University of Alberta with Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree with Distinction at November 2023.
