Intermediate Software Developer April 2022 – Present March Networks Led the higher-level architectural development of back-end data integration in March Networks’ new SearchLight Cloud project, during its transition from the old SearchLight platform to its cloud-based solution. SearchLight is March Networks’ leading software product.  Supervised the development of applications that were used to integrate various types of data from customers/partners into March Networks’ existing SearchLight platform.  Data integrations involved data from POS and Banking customers, along with data from smart devices/sensors, video analytics (object identification), transit applications and demographics.  Technologies used: C#, Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, RESTful API, ASP.NET Web API, AWS, S3, SQL, Swagger, JIRA, Git, TortoiseSVN, bitbucket, Visual Studio, Postman, SharePoint, Agile, JSON, XML, Unit Testing (Jest), KafDrop, Swagger, OAuth, Apache Druid. Junior Software Developer July 2020 – April 2022 March Networks Worked as the lead developer for back-end data integrations for POS/ATM Integrations for the Strategic Partnerships and Integrations team.  Demonstrated strong ownership over back-end data integration development and infrastructure, developing 30 new data integration projects and making improvements to 20 existing projects over the span of 21 months. These projects integrated customer data into March Networks’ Searchlight product, and directly increased company revenue.  Developed, maintained and supported data integrations within the Searchlight platform for numerous Retail and Banking customers/partners, such as PAR, Gilbarco and Bank of Hawaii.  Projects included local, batch and cloud integrations. Cloud integrations involved making http or ftp requests to APIs to fetch customer data off the cloud, while using Postman for testing purposes.  Led the development of the first data integrations, written in TypeScript using Node.JS, for the CESNG and Searchlight NextGen products, which are March Networks next generation products/platforms.  Collaborated with the R&D team on integrating demographics data into transaction information displayed on the Searchlight platform database and led the data integration developments and changes in this aspect.  Technologies used: C#, Microsoft .NET Framework, TypeScript, Node.JS, JIRA, git, TortoiseSVN, Jenkins, bitbucket, AWS, S3, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Postman, Sharepoint, Agile, JSON, XML, OAuth. Software Designer Co-op September 2018 – December 2018, April 2019 – August 2019 Ribbon Communications Member of the GENWare Platform team, which aims to deliver a stable and reliable Linux Operating System (Embedded Linux) framework for the C20 Product Applications.  Researched on and used debugging tools such as GDB to fix memory leaks in C/C++ programs.  Wrote shell scripts using Bash in Linux to automate and simplify the process of creating and delivering VSE patch updates (software upgrade).  Made improvements to a data collection tool called vseCollect through shell scripts written in Bash, ensuring it was functioning correctly.  Technologies used: Linux, C/C++, Bash, GDB, Valgrind, Oracle VM VirtualBox, Yocto, SharePoint, Jira
