Fei Yang Yu

I am studying Medical Sciences at Western University and have a strong background in the biochemical, pharmaceutical, and pathology fields. I am interested in designing innovative solutions that benefit the communities around us to make the world a better place. I hope to serve patients and play a role in their care and recovery, one step at a time.

Undergraduate Research Student

• Managing and maintaining laboratory and clerical inventory
• Applying pharmaceutical knowledge to assess therapeutic efficacy in model organisms
• Documenting experimental protocols and data accurately for statistical analysis
• Identifying technical issues and implementing efficient solutions
• Upheld the health and safety standards of the workplace to limit the risk of infection 

  Medical Assistant

• Filed patient documents in order to lessen the workload on the office staff
• Admitted new patients and welcomed them with a positive attitude
• Organized patient schedules and established appointment times to lessen the possibility of confusion
• Measured the height, weight, and blood pressure of various patients
• Performed, analyzed, and recorded urine test results

STEM Tutor

• Communicating with hundreds of students to assist them in their educational journeys
