Experience
I am a high energy results driven Mining Professional specializing in Mining Resource/Reserve and Exploration Geology with over 17 years of industry experience in building mineral economic resources.
My success is attributable to my involvement in diverse projects, working globally, and my ability to network with leading mining professionals.
Recently, I have leveraged my technical knowledge to create thousands of content pieces and engage on social media platforms. I have been an Ontario Qualified Geologist/Competent Person (QP) since 2012 and have worked on deposit types including Epithermal, Copper-Gold Porphyry Systems, IOCG, VMS, ultramafic Nickel-Copper-Cobalt base metals, and rare earth deposits. I have participated in over 125 projects at various stages of development, skilled in navigating, mapping, and prospecting, with a focus on advancing Green and Brown fields exploration projects to resource-compliant stages and engineering scoping studies (PEA, FS).
I possess extensive experience in Canada, particularly in Ontario's Abitibi Archean Orogenic greenstone/porphyry Cu-Au camps, and have worked in Timmins, Sudbury, Kirkland/Larder Lake, Red Lake, Schreiber-Hemlo, Beardmore, Cobalt, and other regions in Quebec, British Columbia, Yukon, Alaska, Central & South Americas, southwestern USA, Africa, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A notable career highlight was as an expat at Bisha Mine Company in Eritrea, Africa, where I served as the Senior GIS and Resource Modelling Geologist. I have worked on site in both open pit and underground mining environments globally and have traveled to over 40 countries. I hold dual citizenship in Canada and the USA, with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geological Sciences, Minor in Environmental from Queen's University (2008), and a Certificate in Applied Digital Geography and GIS from Ryerson University (2011).
