  • Materials and Inventory control:Schedule the supply of material/components to meet production requirements and minimum stock levels.
  • Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to end user.
  • Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions
  • Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries
  • Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect mine production.
  • Utilize Delta ERP system and ensure that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required.
  • Monitor inventory levels against agreed target level

  • Vetted all stores requisitions before issuing of items;
  • Issued stock items to end users by following stock issuing procedures; 
  • Accurately recorded issued stock against requested quantities;
  • Ensured accurate and up to date filing of stock issued;
  • Reported any quality or discrepancy issues immediately to the Stores Controller;
  • Maintained and publish operational reports for review;
  • Performed and other duties that may be assigned by your superior officers.

 

Goods Receiving Clerk:                                                                                                                             February 2012- April 2017             

  • Compared shipment contents with paperwork to support inventory accuracy and records management.
  • Liaised with vendor representatives to rectify damages and shortages.
  • Checked accuracy of cargo manifests against purchase orders, identifying errors before invoices entered Delta ERP system.
  • Prepared accurate shipping orders and bills of lading to direct and route materials.
  • Utilized Delta ERP system organize and maintain shipment records.
  • Unpacked and examined incoming shipments to confirm consistency with records and routed materials to appropriate department.
  • Maintained productivity goals by organizing and transferring incoming shipments using appropriate equipment.
  • Promote improvements in process efficiency and productivity by recording all safety issues.
  • Investigated inventory discrepancies to maintain record-keeping validity.

 

Approximate rate: CAD$ 20 per hour
