Garrett Szeremley

My name is Garrett Szeremley. I am a recent finance grad completing four years of college hockey on the east coast of the United States at Salve Regina University in Newport RI where I was an all conference defenceman my junior and senior years. I am the founder of PV Elite hockey development a hockey development company out of Winkler, Manitoba that specializes in league play, skill development, and analytics tracking and testing. In December of 2023 PV Elite became the first hockey development company to offer analytics tracking and testing services to amateur hockey players, to date we hold contracts to perform analytics tracking and data analysis for multiple minor hockey systems in the Pembina Valley and are working on details to work with multiple MJHL clubs in the 2024-25 season. I am extremely passionate about analytics and their application in hockey and believe I have enough real world experience in analytics tracking, testing, and data analysis to be a large asset as an intern to true north entertainment. This summer PV Elite will work alongside over 400 skaters from the ages of 8 to 25 providing skill development and analytics testing in our attempt to build more efficient and confident hockey players. I possess skills in leadership, manage a team of 10 employees throughout the summer, and have managed to surpass $150,000CAD in annual revenue this summer through PV Elite. If given the opportunity to interview for this position I could explain in great detail my experience in analytics, hockey, and owning my own business combining the two.
