Gayathri Thirumoorthi

I am a dedicated and hardworking individual currently pursuing my Master of Applied Computer Science (MACS) at St. Francis Xavier University. Alongside my studies, I have gained strong part-time cashier experience at Atlantic Superstore and Tim Hortons, where I handled cash, debit, and credit transactions, supported customers, and maintained smooth front-end operations in fast-paced environments. Prior to this, I worked full-time as an Application Support Analyst at Ayycon Solution in Chennai, where I supported secure database systems, managed workflow processes, and resolved technical issues for end-to-end order management. My combined technical background and hands-on customer service experience have helped me develop excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, allowing me to adapt quickly and work efficiently in both retail and technical roles.

I have a strong blend of customer service and technical experience. I currently work as a part-time cashier, where I handle payments accurately, assist customers, and maintain smooth checkout operations. I also previously worked as an Application Support Analyst, supporting secure databases, managing workflow processes, and resolving technical issues for end-to-end order management. Together, these roles have strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities, allowing me to perform effectively in both retail and technical environments.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Applied Computer Science (MACS) at St. Francis Xavier University, where I am building strong skills in software development, data management, and applied computing. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Navarasam Arts and Science College for Women, where I developed a solid foundation in programming, problem-solving, and core computer science concepts.
