About Gisna Kuttukkaran:
A PharmD graduate with over two-year experience as Clinical Research Intern, approximately two years of experience as Drug Safety Associate at IQVIA and one year experience as a pharmacy assistant. Currently targeting challenging and enriching experiences where I can utilize and apply my knowledge for the growth and development of the company as it enables me to learn and improve .
Experience
In JAN-2019 I joined IQVIA as a drug safety associate and worked for Janssen project till AUG-2020. During the first six months I was trained on SCEPTRE and ARISG, SOPs, project protocols, US regulations and guidelines of case processing. I have processed safety data according to the regulatory timelines and carried out quality check on medical devices. I was also selected to work for the AXA-Bolus project. I have performed pharmacovigilance activities as per project requirement which included but were not limited to, collecting and tracking incoming Adverse Events (AE)/endpoint information; determining initial/update status of incoming events; database entry; coding AE and Products, writing narratives, Literature related activities as per internal/ project timelines. During my role as an employee at IQVIA I have not only taken out my best at work but also was a member of the fun team and the host for the town hall meetings.
Education
I have graduated from M.G.R Medical University with Pharm. D degree in 2018. During my role as a student, I was responsible for antibiotic stewardship program, dose calculation and dose adjustment, identifying and reporting of medication errors and adverse drug reactions at the Vivekananda Medical Care Hospital. While working at Daya General Hospital, I have carried out prescription processing, anticoagulation – intervention and patient education, prescription auditing. During my internship, I have also identified and reported medication errors and adverse drug reactions.
