I am passionate about improving the quality of life for those with mental health and/or substance use challenges who seek access to services. Dedicated to supporting, empowering, and encouraging others through sharing my lived experience, practicing of self-care, and living through reflective practice.

Appreciate and respect personal journeys and meeting people in a non-judgmental, non-bias, and compassionate way while showing patience, care, and genuine interactions that contribute to inclusion, advocacy, and fair practices. Value the opportunity to support others through a holistic, client-centred, culturally relevant lens. 

Embrace bio-psycho-social-spiritual frameworks in providing addictions and mental health services – innate knowledge and experience with SMART Recovery programs and understanding of Motivational Interviewing and Change Theory, CBT, DBT, Trauma-Informed Practice, and other related technique and practices. 

Integrate skills and knowledge from a range of frameworks and contexts in addictions, mental health, and concurrent disorders to provide non-biased services to individuals from diverse and varied populations.
