As one of only two national grocery retailers in Canada, Sobeys Inc. serves the food shopping needs of Canadians with more than 1,500 stores in 10 provinces. 
Financial Analyst: 
– Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly reporting of the Atlantic region for the directors and stakeholders to review sales, budget, end-to-end margin, trading margin, labour hours & wages, and stores’ effectiveness to improve business performance 
– Forecasting: Design forecast models to predict sales, backstage cost, and capital gains to hit the target growth 
– Capital Acquisition Request (CAR): Scrub capital requests from stores and calculate NPP, IOR, and payback periods to identify projects with good returns 
– Store Assistance: Help stores regarding sales, shrink, and other key performance metrics to improve sales
