Hello, my name is Hayden Helme and I'm a beginner video editor. I've always been fascinated with storytelling and visual arts, and video editing is the perfect way for me to combine those passions. I love the process of taking raw footage and turning it into a cohesive and impactful story that can move and inspire people.

I started my video editing journey by experimenting with simple software tools and creating videos for fun. As I gained more skills and experience, I became more confident in my abilities and started taking on more challenging projects.

Currently, I'm focused on improving my skills in different areas of video editing, such as color grading, sound design, and motion graphics. I'm also learning about different types of video content, from short social media clips to longer documentaries.

My goal is to become a professional video editor and work on projects that have a positive impact on people's lives. I'm excited to continue learning and growing in this field and can't wait to see where this journey takes me.

I have completed several video editing courses at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), which have provided me with a strong foundation in the technical and creative aspects of video editing. These courses have included instruction in a range of software programs commonly used in the industry, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. Overall, my education at BCIT has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the video editing process and the skills needed to produce high-quality video content.
