Full Stack Developer and Video Coach

• Maintain and develop a Django-based web application that is powered by Sportlogiq’s raw data to create dynamic views and descriptive analyses deemed critical by the team

• Contributed to an extensive data pipeline using Python, SQL and DBT to take raw data CSVs from Sportlogiq’s SFTP and store formatted data in a PostgreSQL database

• Created a live and interactive RShiny draft app that consolidated scouting notes, key player stats and prospect ratings into a visually stimulating player card used by the management team during the draft

• Leveraged Spark and the company’s data stack to query, clean and engineer massive datasets for complex analyses

• Prescribed data-driven improvements to vehicle self-driving performance through exploratory data analysis, which involved crafting visualization with Seaborn to show when and how safety violations occur in correlation with scenario types

• Developed a dynamic Tableau dashboard to visualize safety performance of self-driving trucks, and scheduled cron jobs using Databrick’s workflow capabilites to update the underlying data daily

Data Scientist

• Constructed NLP-based ”thesaurus” solutions that used NLTK’s WordNet and GloVe word embeddings to create relational sentiments between the different keywords used in their classification system

• Proposed and implemented improvements to the SQL data pipeline, primarily redesigning data models to better scale to the growing data sources available while also leveraging materialized views and primary/foreign key relations
