Imogen Walks Kowalchuk

I am a hardworking and enthusiastic individual with multiple years of experience providing excellent customer service. I am currently in my second year of university in the Arts and Sciences program at McMaster university and my aim is to get more experience working professionally this summer. I look forward to the opportunity to develop new skills.

I have worked a range of positions, including customer service, manual labour, and management. Currently, while not a paid position, I am on the Ontario Public Interest Research Group McMaster board of directors. This involves managing a team of volunteers, making funding decisions, communicating regularly with my fellow directors, and organising community events. 

I am currently finishing my second year of Arts and Sciences at McMaster. A small, competitive, interdisciplinary program, Arts and Sciences has allowed me to develop skills across a range of fields. In particular, the program emphasizes excellent written and verbal communication and a range of math and stats-based competencies.
