Recent graduate with a strong foundation in professional instruction, coaching, effective communication, and coding—alongside a broader proficiency in computer systems and technology. I am eager to join a forward-thinking company that values growth and views employee development as an investment. I seek a challenging role that offers continuous learning, builds on my existing knowledge, and satisfies my intrinsic curiosity and drive for understanding.

During my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta, I was invited to fill a position as a Teacher's Assistant on behalf of the Computing Science Department. For six-semestered contracts, I had the pleasure of working under the directive of approximately eight different professors. The work included hosting and teaching labs, as well as providing support and office hours for, three major assignments for groups of 20-30 undergraduate students. At the conclusion of each semester when the students submitted their anonymous feedback surveys, my students were not only more likely to submit a survey, but also to give the class and myself exceptional ratings in each and every semester. I was at most one of three, and sometimes one of one, undergraduate students who were hired in this role with the rest of the team comprising of approximately 30 MSc and PhD students.

During the summertime when school wasn't in session, I worked as an experiential learning facilitator primarily instructing. Groups of 40-50 high school students would stay on-site anywhere from three days to two weeks at a Paddle Canada and Alberta Curriculum accredited learning facility. Primarily, I acted as a liaison between the clients and the not-for-profit providing the service ensuring that the high school students were well fed, well watered, and were consistently meeting time-bound goals such that each separate branch of the service was able to operate in a way that was both synchronous and of high quality. Over the course of 5 summer contracts, I certified in an 80-hour Wilderness First Responder certification, a Swiftwater and Floodwater Rescue Technician certification, as well as some of the most difficult Paddle Canada Instructor certifications. 

Most recently, I worked as a sales associate for a Hyundai Dealership. I flourished, selling an above average amount of vehicles almost instantly. I was quickly recognized for my commitment to customer satisfaction with a passionate emphasis on active listening so that I could make an informed choice on the vehicle I would help the client select. Many of my clients still call or text me asking to book appointments with me to either purchase a vehicle themselves, or as a referral to friends or family looking to buy. I feel a deep level of satisfaction knowing that my time at the dealership was impactful and that my previous clients trust me above all to take the best care of their family and friends during what is undoubtedly one of the biggest financial decisions someone makes in their lifetime.
