Firmware Engineer at Felicity Connect Ltd. (IQnexus) – Tauranga, New Zealand

-Maintain and improve existing firmware of IoT projects. Worked on optimizing power consumption for portable devices to extend lifetime working from 6 months up to 5 years on AA batteries. 

- Develop device’s firmware in C/C++ for STM32 microprocessors to work with various sensors over communication interfaces. One project was to implement a new feature by reading a sensor 32 times/second while securing 10-year working on batteries. 

- Debug issues, validate and release firmware to production. 

- Document firmware development and specifications. 

- Assist hardware designer in the design of systems.
