Janice Brenner

I am a registered therapeutic counsellor (through ACCT). My counselling approach is client-centered and collaborative. I utilize a transpersonal therapeutic approach which is holistic in nature and focuses on our human experience in an interconnected world and focus on approaches such as CBT and family systems. I welcome clients into a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore a client's thoughts, feelings, behaviors, beliefs, and emotions together on a journey of self-discovery. I am also a registered pharmacist and incorporate my skills and knowledge in this area into my counselling practice.

I am a registered therapeutic counsellor (RTC) with ACCT. I have completed 500 practicum hours, including 205 direct client hours and 94 supervision hours. In addition, I am a registered pharmacist with over 35 years experience communicating with clients. I understand the importance of being heard, seen, and understood and approach the client as a unique individual. I am also a wholistic therapist and draw from my training and experience in a wide range of techniques and approaches including NLP (neurolinguistic programming), integrative body psychotherapy, and energy healing. 

I have a diploma in Transpersonal Therapeutic Counselling from Clearmind International Institute, received on July 7, 2023.
