Jared Richardson

I am a musician and composer currently based in Vancouver, BC. I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music, and also attended the University of Victoria on full scholarship. My works as a composer have been performed by the Victoria Symphony, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and Toronto Symphony Orchestra. 

• Composer: my original compositions have been performed by the Victoria Symphony, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Hollywood Studio Symphony (Los Angeles), Hillcrest Wind Ensemble (San Diego), Tampa Bay Symphony (Tampa, FL), Rousse Philharmonic Orchestra (Bulgaria) and other professional ensembles (2010-present).
• Music producer, arranger, audio editor, and mix engineer: I haved worked on a variety of remote audio projects from my home studio for local and international clients, across genres including pop, electronic, big band jazz, and classical (2016-present).
• Pianist and band leader: I have performed in and organized many musical ensembles in Victoria and Vancouver, BC; at music venues including Hermann’s Jazz Club, The Atrium, The Superior Café, Frankie’s Jazz Club, The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts, and others (2009-present).

Bachelor of Music degree; major in Electronic Production & Design; graduated 2016, Magna Cum Laude.

2011 - 2013       University of Victoria School of Music (Victoria, BC)

Attended for two years on full scholarship, before transferring to Berklee.
