Jasmine Stafford

I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production program at York University. During my time at school, I have not only been able to explore my love for cinema but my passion for picture editing as well as documentary filmmaking. I want to continue my love for picture editing beyond school and grow as an assistant picture editor while building up my experience.

The assistant picture editor for the first season of Cross Country Cake off. Utilizing Avid Media composer to organize and prepare footage for the story and picture editor.

Assistant Picture Editor (Intern) • Breakthrough Entertainment • June 2022 – October 2022

Working with a picture editor as their assistant picture editor on three separate feature films, utilizing Avid Media Composer.

VFX Editor and Assistant Online Editor (Intern) • Sinking Ship • JUNE 2022 – August 2022

Working in the VFX and animation department preparing footage for editors. Utilized several organizational and online sharing programs as well as working with Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.

Editing theatre productions to be shown to schools around Ontario, utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro.

Preparing and editing conference videos for the theatre using Adobe Premiere Pro.
