Experience
Toronto Metropolitan University: Research Assistant Oct 2022 - present
- Learning the EV wireless charging station tapology with power converters
- Learning and assisting the research on EV wireless charging system cyber-physical security and protection
- Building and simulating using MATLAB Simulink and Typhoon HIL to verify prediction of system failure behavior and locate failure points
Conavi Medical Inc: Manufacturing Engineering Intern May 2021 - August 2022
- Raising and resolving Non Conformance Report (NCR) during assembly process and testing of the Novasight Hummingbird Console (ADM) and its subassemblies. Utilizing an electrical engineering background to conduct investigations and testing, ex: decoupling components and testing for short to troubleshoot PCBs
- Correcting and improving the current ADM assembly workflow by monitoring assembly processes and updating related work instructions and job travelers for better efficiency and clarification, as well as updating other documentations such as incoming inspection, specification sheet and equipment calibration instruction
- Verifying production proposals and conducting tests on R&D units
- Managing and implementing new production updates and training the technicians
- Participating and managing projects to improve the overall ADM building process efficiency
Fluidigm Inc: Electrical Engineering Intern Feb 2018 - June 2018
- Preparing single line diagrams and electrical schematics for theoretical calculation of the circuits
- Using Diptrace Schematic and PCB Layout to integrate and combine all circuit units on the PCB, achieving maximum efficiency with proper layout planning and trace routing
- Review and selection of required electrical components from various sources to meet performance targets while minimizing costs
- Troubleshooting circuits with oscilloscope and ammeter and debugging codes for microcontroller to ensure the system is free of error and running reliably
