DATABASE AND BACKUP ADMINISTRATION

  • Applying SAP bundle patch for Oracle 12C and 19C databases.
  • File system extension.
  • Tablespace extension.
  • Index rebuilding of SAP tables.
  • Performed manual SAP System Refreshes across different landscapes along with pre-refresh, Refresh, Post Refresh steps.
  • Implemented System upgrades, Kernel Patching, Oracle Bundle Patch.
  • Handled Release Management effectively.
  • Good analysis of Root Cause Analysis of problems occurred and making sure that we didn’t encounter the problem in future. 
  • Proficient in shell scripting 
  • SAP certificate management for ABAP, Java and Dual stack systems. 
  • Automation of table space extension, file system cleanup based on threshold. 
  • System monitoring to ensure system is up and running fine.
  • Downloading and Installing Diagnostic Agents 
  • Performing SAP System Refreshes using Delphix Tool.

  • Checking the health and status of Java applications using Shell scripting an configuring alerts for regular alerts using crontab.
  • Implementing Optimized Data Management in database to improve the database performance for reading the table data.
  • Upgrading SAP Basis version upgrade and other component upgrades.
  • Installing TREX and web dispatcher.
  • Configuring alerts for application and database from SAP Solution Manager.
  • Configuration of job monitoring from solution manager.
