About Jordan Sine:

I'm a UX & Product Designer with a background in aviation, an education in psychology, and a lover of the arts. My personality and pursuits have largely been a dichotomy between the creative and the practical. Having spent over a decade flying helicopters, I've developed a very detail-oriented and disciplined work ethic. Meanwhile, my love of the arts and education in psychology have left me chasing the abstract.

Experience

The Argyle (Freelance) - Hamilton, Ont. 

November 2021 - Current

Redesigned the online experience for The Argyle’s home page, menu,

and golf pages. Illustrated design ideas to client using wireframes and

by highlighting user flows.

  • Adhered to client and brand requirements when redesigning website
  • WCAG compliant
  • Responsive mobile-first design
  • Wireframing, redesign of icons, buttons, and other UI elements

Use of time: 80% icon illustration, wireframing, new site layout & design. 20% site testing & iterations.

  • Recruited user candidates using surveys
  • Remotely tested existing prototype with targeted users via Zoom
  • Organized and presented qualitative findings and new design mockups to internal stakeholders and design team on a weekly basis
  • Designed and created new UI based on qualitative findings from user testing
  • Edited existing copy and layout for web landing pages

Use of time: 50% redesign of existing prototype including overall layout, colours, buttons, and icons. 30% developing user survey, recruiting users, and user testing. 20% presenting new ideas, mockups and findings to internal stakeholders and design team.
