I am a recent PhD graduate with expertise in endocrinology and metabolism, having used both in vitro and in vivo models to answer my research questions. I'm currently seeking a scientist position with a collaborative and innovative team, with whom I can learn, grow, and make a difference in human health.

• Independent thinker, pro-active researcher able to quickly learn and effectively utilize a broad range of scientific techniques, as evidenced by the breadth of skills necessary to complete doctoral research: molecular and cell biology, animal studies, scientific writing
• Self-motivated and skilled project manager with 6 years of experience leading, planning, implementing, and managing research project plans while teaching and training students
• Excellent communicator with experience working in an interdisciplinary environment including researchers, veterinarians, technicians, professors, safety officers, businesses

I recently completed my PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology, which followed an undergraduate degree in Honours Biochemistry; both from the University of British Columbia.
