Hello, I am a self starter who tackles problems within a project before they can affect timelines!

I worked at PNI for nearly 8 years. I started as a Jr. QA testing their websites, but I worked hard, and in a little over a year i was promoted to Intermediate QA. My duties were expanded from writing Test Cases and executing them, to writing the Test Plan, and reporting on the status of QA from week to week.
My greatest challenge there so far was managing the QA for a project where the Dev to QA ratio was 8:1. 
I was the sole QA on that project and utilised a few strategies to deal with the massive amount of work.

1. I took a look at site analytics with the product owner and we replaced several manual test runs with new automated ones.

2. Working with the Devs to understand the specific areas of the code they changed and how that relates to the system, allowing for more precise test cases and creative test scenarios. 

3. Knowing when to ask for an extra resource when the necessary work for the sprint was too much for QA to complete testing.
