About Kent Ellefsen:
Proven Technology Sales Leader with 20 Successful Years of Experience
Experience
I began my career selling with Xerox and was the top performer on my team. I then transitioned to the IT sector, developing Cisco business with Long View Systems and was promoted to Senior Account Manager, where I developed some of the company's flagship accounts to record producing years. Following this, I started the Atlantic division for OnX Enterprise Solutions, where I was responsible for establishing the company in the region and successfully secured the first major contract with the Government of New Brunswick with a contract valued at $25M. I was recruited be IMP Solutions to develop a new business division from the ground up. I successfully built their Cloud and Managed IT Services practice over the course of my 6 year tenure. One of the flagship wins was with the Federal Government where IMP Solutions was named on the Shared Service Canada cloud procurement vehicle for Microsoft and Google (exclusive partner). This win led to the largest Azure contract at the time, valued at $1M with Department of Transportation. I was then recruited to Softchoice Corporation to turn around their struggling Atlantic division. In my first fiscal year as District Sales Manager, I successfully turned around the branch from 68% of plan to 109% of plan. I exceeded the quota every year in the role and achieved the coveted Club 105 award each year in the role. In January 2001, I was recruited to be the North American Sales Director for Stack8 Technologies where I was responsible for structuring their sales team and developing a strong go-to-market system. In the second quarter of my tenure, the company achieved record results in their 11-year history. This role focused on large enterprise and public sector in Canada and the USA.
