Hello, I'm Kevin! I am based out of Leduc, Alberta, but have been lucky enough to travel the world, thanks to my wedding videography business, Wagging Tail Studios. I count myself very fortunate to do what I do for work, which doesn't feel like work a lot of the times. When it comes to my wedding films, I specialize in crafting heirlooms for my couples that go beyond the surface level glam of a wedding day and explores their relationships at a core level.

I am passionate about traveling, sports and the outdoors. Working in a team environment is an opportunity I will always jump at because I love being part of something that is bigger than me. I also love seeing everyone bring their own personality and unique skill set in a collaborative situation. There is something special about working as a team towards a shared goal, working together through any challenges that may come our way.

I consider myself someone who takes pride in doing a great job and is always looking to improve. In my career, I have held multiple leadership and managerial roles that required strategic thinking, attention to detail, problem solving skills and the ability to bring the best out of others. My hope is I can take everything I have learnt in my career and apply it to the next opportunity that awaits me.

I set up camera and lighting equipment, assemble sets for interviews and panels, ran cables and assisted camera operators with any requests on the fly.

I was responsible for all United Airlines passenger baggage within the transborder bagroom at the Edmonton International Airport. It was my responsibility to sort and organize all United Airlines passenger baggage into their designated carts for delivery to their assigned aircraft.

During my time at Century Casino, I reported to the Director of Food & Beverage. Our department consisted of 7 food & beverage outlets throughout the Fort Road casino and hotel location. We had a team consisting of over 30 servers and bartenders.

The Westin Edmonton - Banquet Server/Chief Steward/Housekeeping Manager

November 2004 to September 2009

I started working as a banquet server as I was studying hotel management at college. Upon the completion of my diploma program in 2006, I was hired as the Chief Steward which came with a team of 15 members under my guidance. As Chief Steward, I was responsible for the organization, cleanliness and distribution of all food and beverage equipment for the hotel. 

In 2008, I then moved into the Housekeeping Manager role, reporting to the Director of Housekeeping. We had a team of over 50 members that were responsible for the overall cleanliness of all guest rooms and public spaces throughout the hotel.
