About King Yiu Wong:

I am currently looking for a change in career path from working toward the P.Eng to an administration related position within the construction/engineering industry. I worked 2.5 years as a geotechnical EIT in Ottawa and was mostly responsible for conducting geotechnical related field work, such as field investigation and geotechnical inspections for the OLRT phase 2 project. I was also involved in producing engineering reports and inspection reports for various highway expansion projects, such as the Hwy 17 Twinning project from Arnprior to Haley Station.

Experience

Supervision and liaising with subcontractors for geotechnical site investigation

Projects including:

• Confederation Line Extension– Ottawa Light Rail Transit (LRT) Project – Stage 2

• Hwy 17 Twinning from Arnprior to Haley Station

 

Producing factual investigation report for geotechnical investigation

Projects including:

• Hwy 17 Twinning from Arnprior to Haley Station

• Highway 401 Napanee River Bridge

 

Conducting construction inspections, preparing construction inspection report, liaising with

contractor and city officials for construction activities

Projects including:

• Confederation Line Extension– Ottawa Light Rail Transit (LRT) Project – Stage 2
