My career journey spans across various sectors/industries, starting with B2C sales and key account management as a Business Development Manager and Customer Success Account Manager, followed by a successful tenure as an Area Sales Manager in retail channel sales.

 

During my time at Asian Paints Ltd., India's largest paint company, I honed my skills and achieved significant milestones, driving sales and revenue growth in the wood finishes retail segment. I led proposal development and project management initiatives for Architects and Interior Designers (A-IDs), achieving revenue generation of INR 98 million. I directed end-to-end proposal lifecycle management, including requirements analysis, proposal strategy, content development, submission, and post-submission activities such as follow-ups, presentations, and negotiations. My efforts in conducting thorough risk assessments and competitive analysis helped develop compelling value propositions and mitigate potential risks in proposals. I collaborated with cross-functional teams such as Technical/Pre-Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Legal for proposal-related review meetings and engagement activities/events, thereby enhancing client relationships and brand presence. In my role, I directed a team of on-role sales representatives and off-role representatives while tracking their respective KPIs.

With an MBA in Marketing and Operations and over eight years of diverse corporate experience, I bring a wealth of expertise as a seasoned sales and marketing professional.
