My Name is Kristyn Raine. I enjoy helping people and have dedicated my career to path to helping others. My job as a helper in the profession is to help people people empower themselves and find their full potential. 

For fun I love nature, animals and concerts. Music helps heal the soul.

I would say that I am culturally educated with a trauma informed lens. Using a trauma informed approach to build  therapeutic relationships. Has experience working with Human Trafficking victims. Facilitating programs in a addiction treatment center. Experiencse running summer camps for youth. Ran youth night every Wednesday 6pm to 8pm. Consistently ran the youth night and was dedicated to meeting the needs of youth. Building self esteem, prevention work along with team building activities. For the last four years I was working with the indigenous population. I helped some indigenous seniors find their forever home so they could live out their last year in peace. The ultimate goal was death with dignity. Giving clients a chance to hear their voice is giving back the clients their dignity. Their choice is there voice. You really have to build a trusting relationship that takes time and dedication. Showing up when the time is set. Even if the clients don't show up, it's always important for the worker too. Strong advocacy skills are one my strongest assets that I bring to the table. Able to build strong therapeutic relationships. Maintains safe environment for clients while maintaining professional boundaries. Strong work with ethic that benefits the organization and funders. More importantly the work I have done over the many years has benefited seniors, youth and adults. I am extremely dedicated to roles I am in. Major team player and very knowledgeable when it comes to funding and financial literacy. My top skill that I am most proud of the ability to adapt fast to crisis situations. Offering my clients full in depth wrap around approach so that they can never fall in between the cracks of the system again. Housing is a crisis in its self. I have great networking and navigating skills that have benefited the clients. Housing is not the only crisis so is the Mental Health and addiction. Today it's so easy for clients to get lost in the system. Not having ID updated, or follow up mailing address can cause a trickle down effect.   I have the  proven ability to smoothly expedite those problematic situations. Love utilizing other agencies that I can support clients with. Successfully builds mutually beneficial external partnerships. Having my mental health background has made such a positive impact on my clients lives. That many are now using their lived experience as away to give back to community. We are not our mistakes. The history each client has is not what defines them.  I have strength and the know how to empower those who are marginalized.
