Laura Gomez Araque

Environmental engineer passionate about driving and supporting actions that allow for the improvement of the environment through renewable and sustainable energy projects. I am currently expanding my experience in the administrative field by pursuing studies in Finance and Financial Management Services at NBCC, Canada. Over the past few years, I have worked hard to improve my second language, achieving a solid command of English, with Spanish as my native language. I am committed to continuous learning and leveraging my solid educational foundation to grow as a professional. My goal is to generate a positive impact on society through leadership, teamwork, and effective problem solving.

With a background in environmental engineering and a Master’s degree in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law, I have developed expertise in sustainability, regulatory compliance, and environmental management. My experience includes analyzing and optimizing environmental processes, managing waste and biosecurity protocols, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Additionally, I have worked on renewable energy projects, focusing on solar, wind, and hydroelectric systems, and have provided financial and administrative support in the energy sector. My ability to integrate engineering knowledge with financial strategiesallows me to develop efficient and cost-effective environmental solutions that contribute to sustainability and operational excellence.

I am currently pursuing a Diploma in Finance and Financial Services Management at New Brunswick Community College (NBCC), with expected graduation in June 2025. Additionally, I hold a Master’s degree in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from CEUPE - European Business School, where I specialized in renewable energy technologies, project management, and environmental regulations. My academic background also includes a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, providing me with a strong foundation in sustainability, regulatory compliance, and environmental impact assessment. This diverse education allows me to integrate financial and environmental strategies to develop innovative and sustainable solutions.
