Lexie Sellers

I have a friendly outgoing personality and enjoy meeting and working with people. I have a

positive work ethic and take pride in completing tasks independently, or as directed. I am

punctual, independent and responsible, enjoy challenges and have a strong commitment to doing

a job well. I am an early riser and actually enjoy getting my day underway. Whether it be in the

area of sports, academics or personally, I take my responsibilities seriously. My experiences

when playing various sports have helped me to develop skills such as flexibility, independence

and the ability to perform under pressure. As team captain in both competitive soccer and

hockey, I have developed team building skills, as well as leadership skills. While competing in

track events, I have been successful at the district, regional and provincial levels. Each of these

recreational experiences have provided me with opportunities to meet and compete with, and

against athletes both individually and as a member of a team. As a result of my involvement on

sports teams, and through many public events I have come to feel comfortable interacting with

the public in a variety of situations. While my work experience is minimal, I have proven to

myself, and to others that I can be successful at any task I put my mind to.

I have worked in a variety of work places, including the service industry as a hostess,  as well as production work. 

I am a high school graduate and have also completed year one in the Criminal Justice Program at Nova Scotia Community College.
