I have been nursing since 1985. Initially I worked at Toronto Western Hospital on a neurosurgical floor from 1986-1988. From 1988-present I have been at St.Michael’s Hospital in Toronto in the Trauma/Neuro ICU for 10 years and then MED/SURG ICU for 25 years.
Experience
I have been working in critical care for most of my career. I’m used to a very fast pace and am highly organized , and a critical thinker.
we typically see GI bleeds, AKI, DKA, Sepsis, COPD exacerbations, Multiorgan system failure and Trauma
Education
I graduated from Sheridan College School of Nursing in 1985.
