Loïs Michelant

I am a Computer Programming student based in Montréal, currently seeking an internship in web development with a strong interest in front-end development.

My academic projects have allowed me to build web applications using ASP.NET, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I enjoy transforming ideas into structured, functional, and visually engaging web experiences.

With a background in cinema and communication, I bring a strong sense of visual design and attention to detail to my technical work. My experience as a video editor has also strengthened my organization, collaboration, and ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.

I am motivated, adaptable, and always eager to learn new technologies and improve my development skills.

Video Editor with over two years of experience producing and editing academic and media content at the Raoul Dandurand Chair in Montreal. I collaborate closely with team members to understand project requirements, implement feedback, and deliver high-quality content within strict deadlines.

Through this role, I have developed strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage digital assets efficiently. My experience has strengthened my communication skills and my ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality.

In parallel, I have developed technical skills in web development through academic projects, working with ASP.NET, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build structured and functional web applications.

I am currently pursuing a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Computer Programming at Collège LaSalle in Montreal. My program focuses on software development, web application development, database management, and programming with languages such as C#, Java, and Python.

Throughout my studies, I have built web applications using ASP.NET, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. These projects have strengthened my understanding of server-side logic, database integration, and user interface design.

Previously, I completed a DEC in Cinema and Communication, which developed my visual design sensibility and attention to detail. I also completed coursework in Psychology at Université de Montréal, including introductory programming and web creation courses.
