I am currently a food and beverage server at Viva Pickering Retirement where I am have been for the past 8 years. I have previously worked as a security guard at Si2 Investigations and Ontario Place as a student while I obtained a Police Foundations diploma at Seneca College. I recently graduated with a Bachelors Honors in Criminology and Justice at Ontario Tech University. I am interested in becoming a municipal officer where I can apply my experience working with the public and delivering customer service. I also can share my knowledge in community safety and social order with the desire to learn the skills required in municipal law. 

Viva Pickering Retirement as a Food and Beverage Server. I have developed strong interpersonal, communication and empathetic skills working along side the elderly population. I have encountered difficult and challenging situations that requires strong patience and deescalation abilities which I have developed and continue to strengthen.

Si2 Investigations as a Security Guard responsible for the opening procedure of the building, patrolling the building perimeter and premises. Procedures include monitoring and recording all patrons entering the facility and screening visitors while ensuring proper building access. Monitoring video surveillance systems and reviewing footage if necessary. Responding to alarms and calls of security concerns. Developed the ability to take proper notes and record every movement on the property.

Security Guard at Ontario Place Developed experience as a Security Guard responsible for maintaining the property including but not limited to live events such as the outdoor theater and Winter Fest. Responsible for interacting with guests in various climatic conditions, to provide general directions to various areas of the park, surrounding venues,  and not limited to transportation. Patrolling both on foot and vehicle to maintain property compliance regarding CIty and Provincial laws.I was responsible for opening and locking boundary gates and doors and turning on and off property lights,  escorting visitors by vehicle during live events across the property in a safe manner. Enforcing COVID-19 policies was part of the duties as well and conducting crowd control practices.
