Hi, my name is Lucas and I'm a 2nd year Computer Engineering student at Queen's University. My interests lie in software where I hope to specialize after graduation.

Honda of Canada Manufacturing May – Sept 2022 Production Associate – Welding Department

• Ensured the safety of the vehicles with meticulous attention to detail by checking the welds of up to 370 vehicles
• Enhanced adaptation by learning a new software called ScanMaster to further examine the security of the vehicle
• Increased the production of vehicles by fixing basic problems with the robots responsible for assembling the welded parts

Engineering Society of Queen’s University Sept 2021 - Apr 2022 First Year Project Coordinator

• Excellent organization skills cultivated through planning and coordinating mid-term and final exam workshops for first year engineering students
• Demonstrated initiative by applying feedback to improve the quality of the workshops for incoming students
• Established superb communication skills by confirming that all safety measures were being adhered to by registering students into the workshops, checking all covid vaccination status, and daily screening

Rover Autonomous Operation Algorithm – Queen’s University Jan – April 2022 Team Member

• Developed a fully functioning algorithm with the coding language Python to move a robotic rover autonomously with a group of five other members
• Algorithm was able to detect obstacles and search for the most optimal path towards specified coordinates

Vertical Farm Project – Queen’s University Sept - Dec 2021 Documentation Lead and Electrical Specialist

• Designed a prototype for a vertical farm working with a group of four other members and independently oversaw the fair distribution of work amongst group, as well as ensured all documents were formatted consistently and correctly
• Developed code for an Arduino to move an elevator to a certain floor when a button was pressed
