Curious by nature and video game lover, I decided to focus education on IT to understand how computer, apps and games were working. As soon as I started my diploma, I knew I found my career path.

KPMG LLP /SAIT Capstone                                                                                                      Calgary, AB

• Collaborated with KPMG’s marketing department to build an event management system through every step of the SDLC – from establishing scope to project delivery.
• Established the use cases and architecture of the system with UML diagrams.
• Acted as a full stack developer by creating design from business analysis conducted, followed by implementing the back end with Java, and finally assisting with installing Angular components in the front end. 
• Created the back end of the system utilizing Java with Spring Boot and following a RESTful API design. The back end consisted of 18 different model classes, each with 8 different embeddable “key” classes for models that represented bridging in the database. Additionally, 16 repository interfaces and 16 service classes/controllers were utilized to add, delete, retrieve, and edit the information from the model classes.
• Conducted testing with Junit, black-box, and white-box tests to evaluate the performance of different parts of the system.
• Maintained high quality of work with the team by performing quality assurance of code from team members to ensure compliance of code standard.
• Prepared presentations and documentation to train end-users and engage stakeholders.
