I'm a passionate, improved-focused Software Tester/Quality Assurance Professional with over 9 years of experience in Web UI, Backend, Mobile, APIs, Performance, Exploration, Usability, and Security Testing across different domains (Payroll, Payment, HR, Human Manager, Online Travel Company, Telecom, Banking, and other Financial Services) and technologies.

Experience

Software Quality Assurance Engineer

·     Analyzed requirements and user stories to create test project documentation, including Test Strategy, Entry Criteria, Exit Criteria, Test Scripts, Test Execution Plans, and Test Exit reports.

·     Analyzed Low-Level Design (LLD's) and High-Level Design (HLDs) documents as part of the UAT/SIT testing phase.

·     Participated in Sprint Planning meetings where Testers will identify strategic features of user stories and review current sprint user stories during Sprint Planning and Acceptance criteria for Testing will be documented.

·     Designed standardized processes and protocols to continuously improve operational efficiency through positive iteration.

·     Researched and selected automation tools, prioritizing cost-effective solutions to reduce regression time

·     Identified appropriate situations for implementing test automation, accounting for situations where automated testing was counterproductive.

·     Designed software testing plans to evaluate functional and non-functional specification requirements for various test levels and types of information systems and technologies.

·     Manually Performed Web Service testing (REST calls) using SoapUI pro, RESTClient, and Postman Performed backend testing: Database testing and payload testing Json format (request and response).

·     Automated regression test suite for Mobile applications using Java, Cucumber BDD, Selenium WebDriver, and Appium library reducing regression time to over 50%.

·     Developed test framework using Cucumber BDD, TestNG, Maven, log4j, and ExtentReport for HTML Test report generation.

·     Automated regression test suite for Web application under test using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Maven dependency, and TestNG unit framework reducing regression time to over 50%.

·     Designed and implemented of Automation Framework using REST Assured library, Java, Cucumber BDD, TestNG, and Maven to test and assert APIs responses reducing regression time to 60%

·     Designed and implemented API functionality performance tests using JMeter.

· Set up Jenkins build for running tests using maven that initiates sauce labs run.

·     Log defect on Jira and document changed on Confluence

·     Involved with writing SQL scripts and Queries for DB Testing.

·     Provided detailed QA estimates and timelines for various testing cycles during each release period

·     Collaborated with UI/UX team, Business analyst, Development team, and product owners to stay current on intended functionality.

·     Operated under Agile and Scrum frameworks to complete releases and well-organized sprints.

·     Developed testing process for the team and mentored junior QA team

·     Application tested; mobile application technology that builds solutions for underserved communities
