About Mattias Hogeterp:

As a motivated and responsible high school student, I am eager to gain valuable work experience and contribute to the efficiency any organization.

I have completed Grade 11 at Traditional Learning Academy Online (DL) and am currently enrolled in Grade 12 for the following school year. I have maintained a strong academic record over the years while actively participating in extracurricular activities. Through my coursework and community service, I have learned the value of punctuality and teamwork while developing new skills such as problem-solving and effective communication which, I believe, will be an asset to your organization.

My responsibilities as a Rink Attendant with the City of Burnaby include helping patrons secure skates and other protective equipment, patrolling the rink during public skating sessions, responding with first aid to injuries, and maintaining the skates and other equipment. My employment with the City of Burnaby is seasonal and concludes at the end of June. I am seeking full-time summer employment to help with my long-term goals in post-secondary education.

Part of my ongoing volunteer experience includes warehouse volunteer work with the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, where I regularly move pallets of donated food items around the warehouse, sort incoming donations, and pack food orders for clients. Additionally, I have been a member of the worship team at my church for the past six years, accompanying the congregation and leading worship by playing the piano or the pipe organ.
