I partner with store leadership to develop and implement an Asset Protection strategy to mitigate risk and loss within retail stores.

I conduct investigations and utilize all available resources to identify and resolve crime activity in assigned store locations. Including utilizing Wicklander-Zulawski forensic interviewing skills to identify internal loss.

I work with store personnel to identify inventory shortage opportunities and recommend solutions.

I determine the assignment of appropriate Asset Protection resources (i.e. agents, technology, etc.) to address shortage reduction opportunities

I adapt team priorities to respond to customer and business partner needs. I am accountable for team performance through teaching, coaching, and providing meaningful feedback to build capabilities. My strongest asset is strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and build consensus across multiple stakeholders, business partners and functions.

I have 18 years serving companies within physical security, asset protection and logistics loss prevention roles. I have worked and managed security in national distribution centres (Sears Canada), high end retail environments (Tiffany & Co.), big box retail (Hudson's Bay) and multi- store/brand capacities (Gap Inc.). I have developed internal investigation/interview skills, external loss case building capabilities and the ability to train business partners on safety directives/strategies.
