Mauricio Escobedo
About Mauricio Escobedo:
Throughout my professional journey, I have gained valuable experience through a diverse range of employment opportunities. This has allowed me to continuously improve and evolve as a professional. My early career involved teaching English, where I strengthened my communication skills and developed a strong ability to understand and respond to the needs of others. I then pursued an internship in an accounting firm, which provided a solid foundation in accounting and management practices.
Upon completion of my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, I joined Honeywell Inc. as a dispute analyst. This position provided an excellent opportunity for me to further develop my understanding of credit management, deductions, finance, and economics. Later, I was promoted to a Team Lead/Supervisor role, where I discovered a passion and aptitude for data analysis, enabling me to convert data into meaningful information to support effective decision-making.
I am currently employed at Rad Power Bikes in Vancouver, BC. I sought this role as a means of professional development and acquiring new skills. This change has highlighted my ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional customer service. Additionally, it has allowed me to merge my work with my personal interest in cycling and sports.
I am a creative person who loves music, plays the guitar and sings. I tend to read as many books as life allows me to and I like to challenge my mind with games such as Rubik's cubes and puzzles. With my passion, creativity, and professional skills I have the bundle that propels me to achieve what I dream but more importantly to seek a better version of myself.
