Experience

  • 7+ years of proven accounting experience with skills in multiple domains and functional areas with hands-on experience with SAP, QuickBooks, and proficiency with MS Office suites (advanced MS Excel skills for task automation using macros and VBA).
  • Expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements and related reports such as income statements, cash flows, bank reconciliation, monthly forecasts month-end close process including preparing and analyzing journal entries and ledger balances.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices, financial reporting (IFRS), and Financial Planning & Analysis for the planning, execution and close out of turnaround events. financial analysis including GAAP, accounting systems, budgets, internal controls, business planning, and asset management.
  • Detailed oriented, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment while taking up ad hoc projects and support various teams.
  • Knack for executing work with high standards, positively motivating others, and making critical decisions and have experience taking charge of accounting processes, procedures, and systems in the contexts of a wider business objective.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated in multiple client presentations while working in the Consulting unit of an Audit firm.
