Megan Altman

Hi! I’m Megan — the receptionist here at the clinic and one of the first friendly faces you’ll see when you walk through the door. I have a Medical Office Assistant Diploma and a Phlebotomy Certificate from Northern College, and I love combining both my administrative and clinical skills to help things run smoothly.

Day to day, I handle patient intakes, schedule appointments, and assist the doctor by testing urine samples for toxicology screens and uploading lab results. I take pride in keeping everything organized, confidential, and welcoming for every patient who comes in.

I truly enjoy creating a calm, comfortable space where people feel cared for and respected. Outside of work, I love reading, crocheting, and spending time outdoors — things that help me recharge so I can keep bringing warmth and compassion to my work. 

I’m a certified Medical Office Assistant and Phlebotomist with hands-on experience in both clinical and administrative work. I currently work as a Medical Receptionist, where I greet patients, schedule appointments, perform urine tox screens, and upload lab results. With over ten years in customer service, I bring warmth, professionalism, and a friendly smile to every interaction. My background in end-of-life and respite care has also taught me the importance of compassion, patience, and making people feel truly cared for. 🌿
 

I’m a proud graduate of Northern College, where I earned my Medical Office Assistant Diploma and Phlebotomy Certificate. I’ve also completed End-of-Life Doula and Respite Care training, which helped me build strong communication and compassion skills. My education gave me a great mix of clinical knowledge and administrative know-how — and a real passion for helping people feel supported and cared for.
