I am a passionate and dedicated Correctional Worker 2 with a strong background in Police Foundations. My goal is to guide all into a positive and safer path. I provide support, guidance, and mentorship to residents and the community in a safe and nurturing environment. With skills in conflict resolution and risk assessment, I ensure the safety and security of both residents and the community. Additionally, my comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system, legal processes, and community policing allows me to effectively navigate complex situations through education and community outreach, I work towards breaking down barriers and promoting inclusivity. Overall, my aim is to facilitate positive change and create lasting impacts on the lives of residents and the community.

The professional experience I have fit into two key roles: correctional worker 2 at a halfway house and grocer/ Merchandiser. As a correctional worker 2 at the halfway, I gained great experience guiding individuals transitioning from correctional facilities, utilizing crisis management and conflict resolution skills. My time as a grocer/ Merchandiser provided community experience and honed my interpersonal skills. I am well-prepared for future opportunities, with my ability to work effectively in challenging environments and connect with people from all backgrounds.

The most relevant experience I have is that I have a diploma in Police Foundations. This program provided me with knowledge and skills related to law enforcement, criminal justice, and public safety. The curriculum covered a wide range of subjects, including criminal law, investigative techniques, community policing, and conflict resolution. My education in Police Foundations has equipped me with a strong understanding for the criminal justice system, making me well-prepared for professional roles in this field.
