Bioinformatics Scientist with 7 years of experience developing reproducible pipelines and analyzing large-scale genomic data for both research and clinical applications. I created MetaFusion, a fusion detection tool implemented in diagnostics at SickKids and being adopted at Mayo Clinic (21% higher yield than Illumina’s DRAGEN), and co-developed MPAQT, an RNA-seq quantification method outperforming Salmon and Kallisto. As first author on multiple peer-reviewed publications and with expertise in single-cell genomics, long-read sequencing, and workflow development, I help clients build accurate, scalable, and clinically relevant bioinformatics solutions.
